  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a Building Services Engineer apprentice. My main daily tasks at the moment are doing CAD work. Mainly on a programme called Revit. Interally my interations are with the people who I sit near and are usually informal conversations about things outside of work. Externally interactions might be ringing a manufacturer about infomation on a grille or Air handling unit. Some of the project I have worked on are Riyadh Metro Station, Sussex University and an Istanbul Data Centre. I mainly do design work on Revit for the mechanical, electrical and public health services in a building.
