  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • The salary currently is OK - it is far above the minimum wage set for apprentices. The biggest problem however is not the salary while you are an apprentice; it's the salary detailed in the contract - £16,500 - after the two-year course of study is complete. Whether this is open to negotiation or not I am not sure. I am incredibly happy and proud to be employed by a company such as Fujitsu, however I feel that after proving your worth over the course of two years this is disappointing; especially given the career opportunities your studies and work experience will make available to you.
