  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

    • I’m at college 5 days a week for my first year so we spend one day a week doing our qualification for me that is HNC and the 4 other days we do practical work like electrical, hand tools, welding and machining.

    • I have learnt to weld in different ways I have also progressed in my electrical skills and machining skills.

    • I wake up everyday looking forward to going to work.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by GSK?

    • I feel valued as my manager is having regular meetings with us and we have been sent on trips to London and Lake District so this shows that they are investing in us.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

    • Most days are organised but there is some days when the college doesn’t have enough computers for all the students so we can’t complete our work some days.

    • We have been sent on trips and these are great opportunities.
