Apprentice Surveyor. Currently sitting in the London Markets West End Occupier Representation Team. This involves reposnding to client requirements with properties that fit their brief and showing them whats available in the market. We take clients out on viewing tours showing them the shortlisted properties and once they choose their favoured property we go into negotiations and try to agree terms with the landlord and landlords agents to complete the deal.
We have University once a week where we are studying our Real Esate course. You learn to become a professional in the workplace through experinces and your colleagues.
I really enjoy the programme. There is a good balance between the work and social. Its a very varied job, no day is the same which makes it more exciting. You experince lots of different elements of the market to make you a well rounded Surveyor. Opportunities are always arising and it has more than fullfilled my expectations of the job.
Very throughout the whole business. There are always people offering thier assistance. You are included in alot of things weather they are relvant to your day to day work because experience is so important at this stage and getting exposure to the wider business.
You are allocated a buddy for day to day suppoert, a mentor for the more wider support and a line manager for your everyday work support. Your workload is closely monitored and your study is intergrated with your day to day tasks.
A lot.
A great deal. Day to day support is available. You're regularly checked up on for support and to make sure any arising issues can be adressed straight away.
Ok. Considering our Uni fees are paid for it is a fair amount for somone coming into the business with no dgree.
Yes sporting opportunities and many others. There are soail groups such as Inspire which has different sub groups like Ethnicity and Culture and many more. CREation is a group for young surveyors new to the market.
