  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • During this program, in the first week, you work on team building exercises and being a good leader. This is to help you get a qualification equivalent to a GCSE. The next week is all about doing work experience at the EY offices. They are a number of different categories that you can get put into. You are given professional tasks, you go into meetings, you get metors to help you and much more.

  • I learnt how to cooperate in a team with complete strangers and working efficiently in the working world.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoyed it very much. It was nerve racking at first but at the end of it it was really fun.

  • I felt quite valued at EY because things were very well prepared for me and I felt very included.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The program was organised quite well. Everyday had its own tasks and it was well planned.

  • I received a lot of support from my training provider. She made sure we stayed on task and whenever, we had questions, she would help us with it.

  • Our employer supported us through their staff, resources and funding

  • The salary met the costs very well.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Yes there are many opportunities. After the program is over, EY still send you a lot of opportunities to boost yourself and your CV.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I worked with a variety of new and different people. It was a lot of fun and you learn a lot. The work experience was also quite challenging but really educational and helpful for those who want to get in the world of work.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
  • Make sure you are ready to be sociable and work in groups.
