  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I Manage a mailbox on a daily basis for Hovis, british Legion, and Howdens Joinery. Answer the phones and work as part of a team to deal with fleet and driver queries. I run reports for customers dependent on there needs and make sure there are no issues with my customer

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have been on a few courses whilst working for the group I have learnt what my learning style is and how I best learn, Phone call structure and how best to answer a call.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am enjoying my apprenticeship learning more about the group as a whole there policies it is helping give me a better understanding of Lloyds banking group and not just Lex

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Lloyds Banking Group?
  • I would like to think I am paid very well for the job I do and I also receive a yearly bonus as well as recognition from the floor senior if I have done good work, We have weekly Hump days where colleagues are recognised for good work they have done.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The induction process was not great as I was only made aware that I was on the apprenticeship, I have had weekly conversations with my coach and he has set me tasks of what to do so I am aware of what work needs to be completed by what dates.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I have weekly conversations with my coach and I see him very regularly around the business so I often talk and can speak to him if I have any issues.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My team leader does ask me how my apprenticeship is going and I am given my allocated time away from my normal working job to make sure I can get my work completed.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I am paid very well for the job that I do I believe the grading system is unfair as I don't believe there is much difference between the roles in the department I work in. I do spend a lot to travel to work but that is down to my personal choice and I don't mind as I enjoy my job.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • The company provides us with 2 days a year to go out and help with a specific charity and is very supportive with the local community,

  • Yes
