  • I work in audit helping team members with testing and walkthroughs with the client. I get hands on experience doing the same work that a graduate would do and all work has a real impact on the over-all audit.

  • I really enjoy my apprenticeship as everyday is different with new skills to be learnt each day.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by KPMG?
  • I feel very valued at KPMG with all senior people I have worked with praising me for my work and changing everything into a learning experience for me. Everyone also listens to your own needs and are happy to work around anything happening in your personal life.

  • The programme is very well organised with weekly updates and reminders of anything that needs to be done.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I receive a lot support from my training provider, BPP regularly email to check that your revision is going well and that you don't have any questions.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • KPMG apprenticeship management are always there to help and answer any questions you have. My performance Manager regally checks on us to see of you we are all okay.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • The salary is very fair however sometimes with the extra hours it doesn't seem worth.

  • There are a lot of opportunities including training and opportunities to go back to your old school.

  • Yes

  • Very good opportunity with a lot learning and support all the way.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to KPMG?
  • Be yourself and don't be worried about going into such a big firm.
