  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • As an Engineering Technician Apprentice, my role is to complete placements in various departments across the plant. This includes Body in White, the Paint shop and Assembly. During placememnts I have many objectives that I aim to complete. Firstly, understanding what the department I'm in does as a whole as well as the individual roles of the associates in that department. This involves shadowing team members and supporting in projects as well as leading projects. Throughout the placement I build a network of contacts that stay with me throughout my whole BMW career.
