  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • The job title of my role is a Finance apprentice within Treasury finance. Some of my daily tasks include profit and loss reporting which consists of analyzing figures from trades made the previous day and checking all trades have fed through the reporting systems correctly. I work closely within all members of my team and sstakeholders such as traders and the risk team. As I am in Treasury I don't have much interaction externally as all stakeholders are internal. My responsibilities include delivering reports and P&L before the deadline date, attending college sessions and completing exams and applying full effort into all tasks. I am currently involved in ring fencing the retail bank from the investment bank due to UK regulation. I am involved in pilot testing and checking for any issues with the reporting files and books that the trades are booked in.
