  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Technical support advisor and administration I can cover things from asset management to booking travel. I deal with different external vendors on a daily basis, I get to sit in on a variety of meetings and learn the different sides to the business.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have gained a variety of different skills in different systems. I have gained good excel skills. I have done time management training etc. I have gained a lot of skills on how to be professional and communicate with different people.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the programme as it is well structured and I have met lots of new people. The work environment is great and I learnt lots of social skills etc. The programme exceeded my expectation's, I get involved with a lot of tasks I didn't expect to before I came.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Pfizer?
  • I feel like I am a valued member of the team and I receive appreciation for the work I do. People trust me when it comes to setting me tasks and have faith that I will get the job done and to a good standard/

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is well structured I have received plenty of support and I time to do my college work etc. I was well inducted into the team. I have 1 to 1s with my manger regularly.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I get a once a month meeting with my training provider and I have constant contact if I need any extra support. My provider is always happy to respond to messages when i need support. If there is any issues they are happy to guide me in the right direction.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from my employer they allow time to get on with course work. They are happy to help if I need it. If I have any issues their is plenty of support from a variety of sources.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I believe that the salary i receive is good for the fact i am on an apprentiship and i am still living at home so have low living costs and overall low costs in life. i have low travel costs.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • there are many oppurtunities to get involved in a wide variety events. to charity events you can volunteer for. to stem events where you got to different schools and provide information about the company etc.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a good insight into the business admin environment and you learn a lot more than you would first expect before coming here. Everyone is friendly and is overall a good working environment.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Pfizer?
  • Be prepared to learn a lot of new skills you might not have expected. you need to be willing to put in a lot of hard work. also be willing to interact with a lot of people and try and network as much as you can as it will help you overall
