Work experince student Review

There was not a job role. As this was a work experiance, I got an insight of the daily work that goes on in a business environment. In the first week,we had to complete logs on the activities we did such as the Dragon's Den. In the second week, I had to shadow teams who worked in different departements such as human resources or marketing.

I have developed many skills such as communication, confidence and presentation skills which will help me in the nearer future such as when I will be submitting an application for university. I achieved a Level 2 CMI qualification.

It was very fun as I got to meet new people and we had to present a pitch for Dragon's Den as a team which was exciting.Everyday day,there were tasks which were somehow related to networking with other people so we had to communicate with people we had never talked to before.

It was one of the best experiences of my life as I didn't think I will be privileged with this kind of opportunity. I think in the second week, I was more noticed by the staff as for each ectivity I was allocated a different person from different department who shadowed me for a full hour.

It was well organised as everyday we knew what we were doing and there was all sorts of help available. When we had to complete the logs at the end of each day, they got checked by the programme leader for improvements.

Our tutor was an amazing lady who was enthusiastic all the time and wanted us to succeed.We were also allocated a mentor who helped us throughout the programme and will do for the further 10 months.

There was general pleasant attitude for helping each student.

There are opportunities outside the ork experiance such as apprenticeships.

It offered everything I was looking for and I think to experiance corporate life at a young age feels very satisfying.
