  • Power Engineer, This involves travelling to different sites completing routines on our power equipment - DC batteries, AC generators etc.

  • Loads! Electrical skills have been my main focus in construction and fault finding. Mechanical knowledge has improved.

  • It's brilliant, everyday is something different you can work at your own pace and everyone around is happy to help

  • 4. How valued do you feel by BT?
  • 7/10 as a apprentice I feel like we have a lot to live up to with the other engineers but when I finish the apprenticeship I will feel better.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Learning wise (BTEC / NVQ) very. Internal training is hit and miss. Very good courses but not very frequent.

  • As much as you want, very helpful and supportive when needed and happy to let you do your own thing when allowed.

  • More than the average job.

  • The perks of working for the company, it seems like a job for life which will training me up very well.

  • Be yourself, focus on customer service
