  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The day-to-day work at BT is very interesting, the work side of it has helped me develop myself in a professional organisation. The Apprenticeship programme itself was unorganised and not what was advertised. This makes the academic side of the Apprenticeship frustrating and difficult to work with.

    4/10

    10/10

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme has no structure, it has taken a lot of time to put together our course, which should have been organised and structure prior to us joining.

  • My manager and team are extremely supportive of my development.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • The starting salary of an apprentice is great. The potential uplift of 3k per annum based on meeting work milestones is also an added bonus.

    10/10

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are lots of social and volunteering opportunities outside work.

    10/10

  • 9. Would you recommend BT to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend BT as a company as it is a fantastic organisation. BT is a bigger company than I anticipated, and it's a great place to build your future. Although every apprentice course varies, my experience wasn't the best, as an overall bridge to starting a career, BT are very supportive and encourage young talent.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT?
  • Ensure you are confident, well prepared and have researched about the current projects BT are undertaking. Have a passive interest in technology and telecommunications. Think of BT as a career and not a job.
