Sales Support Consultant Review

At the moment I'm in a team called Internal Support Team. My daily tasks are reducing Advice charge for clients, updating client details on different systems we use so our mail etc. is delivered to the correct place. Also, I hand out the post on the floor I work on which is very important as I need to make sure it goes to the correct person.

I have learned lots of new skills, such as my IT skills on the computer as I've been put through a few internal training courses. Also, I've developed my communications skills as I'm regularly on the phone to Financial Advisers. Also, I've been given my licence on several tasks I carry out everyday as I've been doing them correctly. There are always loads of opportunities to go on training courses.

I really enjoy my programme as I really like studying as well as doing a full time job. I like this because it gives me a variety of tasks to complete every day and I'm constantly learning. Also, when I started my team were very welcoming and I have built good working relationships with them.

At Prudential I feel really valued as I've received lots of recognition both from my team and then my manager. I've received recognition when I've completed tasks which are quite complex and also when I complete parts of my apprenticeship.

I think my programme is very well organised as I'm allocated 7 hours per week to complete my apprenticeship work which I use very wisely. Also, if you need some support while doing the qualification ex-apprentices really help if you ask them.

I feel as though I get quite a lot of support from my training provider as if I'm ever needing some help I can just email her and she's responds within 24 hours which is great. Also, you can phone her if you need to

Personally I've not required too much support, however when I started I was allocated a mentor, a buddy and then also my manager so there is lots of support provided from Prudential.

I think the salary is very reasonable and I'm very grateful for it. Also, I receive a good amount of holiday ad also the opportunity to starting put money away in my pension which Prudential then matches. Also, Prudential provide free buses to and from work which saves me lots of money on petrol and helps me get to work stress free.

At Prudential there have been lots of opportunities outside of work to get involved. We had an Apprentice Volunteer day where we went to a local Public Garden where we helped out. Also, there are always lots of Charity events which are run. I'm participating in a walk for charity in June which I'm looking forward to as it's for a great cause. Also, I've been on several team nights out which are great for building relationships. Also, I really like football and I play 5s every Tuesday with some people I work with which is great fun.

I feel that Prudential has been really welcoming and has supported me throughout my apprenticeship so far. Also, everyone at Prudential wants us Apprentices to succeed. I have been given so many opportunities by Prudential so far and I'm very grateful.

When applying make sure you read the different job roles so you apply for the correct one. You really need to put the work in for your phone interview and video interview. Then on the assessment day interact with the other applicants as that's what they are looking for and be yourself, if you are right for the job and have put in the effort you will get it. I think I would liked to have been told some of the opportunities you get as you only find out about them once you start, if you know some of them before it may give you more motivation.
