My role focuses on the financial side of the European Theatrical Marketing department. On a day to day basis I work on reviewing and monitoring marketing budgets. I manage purchase orders and ensure our vendors are paid. I assist my team on setting up vendors and update and allocate systems such as ICampaign and ITAP with the costs that each market has incurred.
I have learnt how to present effectively and I do this in every department meeting. I would present the box office openings for the current films that have released. I have developed my presentations skills by attending many presenting workshops which has allowed me the chance to develop. I have developed my excel skills by understanding how to present data in a manner that is clear and helpful. I have done this in the past when I have produced comparative box office analysis for films such as Rampage and Tomb Raider.
The programme is more enjoyable when you put your studying into practice. My manager also allows me a day off (per week) to study and this helps me balance out my study workload.
I feel very valued at Warner Bros, it is definitely a company that helps boost your confidence and knowledge. The people are very welcoming and help you excel in skills that you are trying to improve.
Once I changed my talent coach, the programme with Kaplan became more clear and it provided me the flexibility to focus on my studying.
Anytime I do have questions, I always email my talent coach who is always there to help.
I receive a day (per week) of study leave which allows me to focus on my studying. It also allows me to balance my work/study time and anytime I have had issues my manager is always there to help me out.
I believe Warner Bros provides a very attractive salary package for an apprentice. This is a reflection of how well past apprentices have performed and how much Warner Bros values their apprentices.
If you enjoy sport, there are opportunities to play for the Warner Bros football team.
Yes
It's a company which allows you to grow and employees treat apprentices with the same respect they give to all employees. You will definitely enjoy your time here as well as learning new skills.
Warner Bros is one big family and the focus is on being collaborative with members of your own team and other departments. So you must be a team player and you need to focus on how you can provide benefit to the team.
