On a daily basis i now have begun to carry out tasks that are more to do with managing people rather than being managed. I am trusted to do managerial tasks to help me get a feel of what it will be like when my apprenticeship is over.
I have learned new skills whilst being with aldi, and i am developing new ones every day. I am constantly being given feedback which i benefit from as it helps me progress.
I enjoy my programme through aldi, as in working on the shop floor and learning it all first hand however i dont think much of the sessions i have with my tutor. I dont find them beneficial to what i am doing within the workplace.
I feel just as valued as everyone else, and i am now starting to see more respect from store assistants as well as managers.
I feel like on paper my apprenticeship is structured however as the apprenticeship company aldi used went into administration, i was left unaware as to when my apprenticeship would come to an end and what happens after that.
I get as much support as i need, however its usually not necessary to contact my trainer.
I recieve lots of support from my employer as they are constantly giving me feedback on how to improve.
Unlike many other apprentices, i am one of the few that has my own house and my own bills to pay for therefore sometimes it is a struggle, especially knowing that i am doing the same as most store assistants and now maybe some managers. Therefore it can be hard sometimes.
I am unsure of this as i have not looked.
Yes
Because they are a good company to work for if you are willing to work hard and live up to the high expectations.
I would advise not to apply if you are not willing to put the work in, and emsure that you are physically fit in order to meet the timed targets.
