  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Currently i am completing a 3 year apprenticeship with Rolls-Royce. I am working towards a level 3 BTEC and a level 2 NVQ within my first year. I currently go to college full time within my first year, in my second year i am on day release from company and finally in my third and final year i am full time at company where i will work towards an NVQ level 3.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt many new practical skills when working with many different sections within college, i had exsiting skills but they have developed massively.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy thr apprenticeship massively, it had been the best decision i have made. Rolls-Royce are a fantastic company to work for, i love the fact i can earn money, and gain qualifications whilst meeting new people.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Rolls-Royce?
  • I feel very valued by Rolls-Royce, they eill do anything they can to improve your knowledge and skills. A very supportive company.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well structured, obviously it has been set to get the best out of the apprentice whilst getting the correct qualifications.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • Anything i need they will provide, they are very helpful if you need anything. The tutors will go out of their way to assist you if you need i.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Our employer is very supportive and will solve any issues which we may have

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I believe the salary covers any transport costs, and also leaves some money to either save or enjoy spending your hard earned wages.

  • There are many different opportunities outside of work, i have completed many open days and events for the company.

  • 9. Would you recommend Rolls-Royce to a friend?
  • Yes

  • Rolls-Royce is a fanstastic company to work for. They are supportive and offer many different ways to boost your knowledge and improve your practical skills.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Rolls-Royce?
  • Work hard when completing the application, it may seem tedious but try and create the best possible personal statement and presentation.
