  • I am an audit associate in the Banking and capital markets department. As different clients have different challenges my day to day varies, but mainly I spend my time client facing interacting with lots of people around the world

  • I am studying to become an ICAEW chartered accountant. As part of my apprenticeship though EY gives me specific training in the market area as well as auditing

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my school leaver programme as no day is the same every day there is a new challenge. I work with some really good people who want to help you to develop and want you to progress.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by EY?
  • You feel valued when you go out with your team for celebration, and then you celebrate what you have achieved through the audit.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I think this an area where EY can improve as we are told things are quite short notice, however as I am in my second year this as improved

  • We receive a lot of support from your team and this means you learn a lot very quickly

  • We receive a lot of support from your EY and this means you learn a lot very quickly

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • If I am honest the salary isn't as much as you think as travel takes away a lot of your salary however it is a decent wage.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Loads of opportunities to effectively do whatever you want to do, there is pretty much a club for everything

  • Yes

  • The sense of community and it is a really enjoyable experience.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
  • Be yourself and you will get through it easily.
