  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role at Syngenta is a control electrical engineering apprentice. On a day to day basis I work with a partner doing a mixture of routine work such as preventative maintenance, break down work and project work. Currently I have the responsibility of running a project to change pressure gauges with a reed switch to pressure switch transmitters to improve reliability.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • Most of the tutors at college are helpful with some acceptations. I Do enjoy college however I prefer to be at work. if I had a problem I would go to someone at Syngenta and not college I would not trust college to do anything about my problem. That said, most of the tutors are very helpful and what my success.
