  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • It meets most of it but when traveling a far distance you are spending most of the salary a month on fuel and other car maintenance. it will get better as you progress up the apprenticeship but the 1st year apprenticeship is the lowest and the hardest to live off. I think this could be improved upon

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Yes there are several opportunities for us especially for promoting the company. We are now enrolled In the STEM project which is a great opportunity. There are also social events for employees organised which is your choice to attend or not

  • 9. Would you recommend Leonardo to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a very supportive company to be involved in. Even at college you are given monthly briefs on the company and what is actually happening to ensure you feel like an actual employee isolated of being left. It is also a very interesting company to be part of due to our product line as we are the forefront of technology and we are always innovating new products

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Leonardo?
  • Ensure you always give it your full effort and treat it as though its a 4 year interview as you are always being watched on your performance. In the long run this will help you when you are all going for the one job that everyone may want and if you've given a good impression people will remember that
