  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My current role is a trading analyst on the Europe Middle Distillate trading bench. I provide analytical insight into market fundamentals to traders and help generate new ideas and influence their positions. My main role in doing this is through tracking ship movements across Europe and reporting this to enable greater understanding and more insight into the current state of the market in terms of supply and demand. I get first hand interaction with front line traders on a daily basis along with connecting with external contacts such as brokers, port agents and charterers.
