  • I was part of the audit team for 2 clients (one for 2 weeks and the other for around 3 months). I was responsible for several sections of the audit which was very fulfilling.

  • I have improved my communication skills by talking to clients and also attention to detail with my work. I have learnt professional scepticism and the importance of it.

  • I loved my placement as it gave me a real insight into working life and exposed me to large clients.

  • My team appreciated the work I did so I was valuable to them.

  • It is very well organised since my time is split between placement and university.

  • We had a week of training prior to placement but the real job was learnt from asking questions.

  • I asked a lot of questions to understand the job.

  • Overtime pay makes the pay quite good.

  • I liked the people on my team and was exciting to be part of a large audit.

  • Research the division you want to apply to thoroughly.
