  • I'm learning new skills every day, for example I am learning how to use the different apps in Adobe Creative Cloud which will give me skills in graphic design, video editing, audio mixing. • 4. How valued do you feel by The Juice Academy?
  • I feel like I am very valued as they are always there to help me achieve and grow not only professionally but also as a person. No matter what the question is they are always there to answer and share their knowledge and expertise. They make you feel like you're going on the right path and you're going to be successful in the future rather than just an apprentice.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The organisation of the programmes is fantastic as it's scheduled into one session a week with very insightful sessions. From the beginning we were given an induction which explained everything clearly showing how long the course is, what it will entail and the possibilities afterwards. We are also scheduled catch ups/progress reviews every couple of months which is also great.

  • I receive lots of support, they're always their to share advice and knowledge about the industry and also if we need any help with personal problems. • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My manager is very helpfu;, giving me direction on what I need to do and giving me reviews of my progress. The HR team is also fantastic, if I have any worries they are always happy to help and are very compassionate if I'm having any personal problems. They have made sure I have the equipment I need to do my job and always push me to do better.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My salary means that I do have enough to live but means I do have to cut back on some things. With the cost of living continually going up it does make it difficult on an apprentice wage however I still afford to live, pay for food and travel on a daily basis and have enough left to cover social costs. It could be better but it could also be worse!

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are many opportunities outside of work with me being invited to several company events and activities such as charity events, annual awards, etc. I also am able to get involved with local community events both through work and through my training provider. Also, my company offer out of office time leisure activities such as yoga, zumba and mental wellbeing sessions.
