  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My daily tasks involve working within the PMO (Project Management Office) on the account I'm working on, liaising with various members of the account both internally and externally in terms of customers and 3rd Party Partners. My responsibilities include managing document reviews, resource management, information requests, purchase orders, weekly reports and access to environments.

  • Along with doing my level 3 qualification in Business and Administration, I have learnt a valuable skills in terms of general business practice, processes and professionalism.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Fujitsu?
  • My manager's and colleagues have reviewed my performance, giving me good feedback on what I've done so far since joining Fujitsu. This has been mirrored by my Apprentice Manager and by 3rd Party Partners.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • My training provider is First4Skills and despite the shakey start, have been helpful throughtout. My current assessor is always supportive and gives as much guidance as she can, being available to help me when I need.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My assignment manager is supportive of any modules/units that I need evidence for. Members of the PMO team and various other people on the account are also supportive.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • If you show enthusiasm and ability to work hard the Apprentice Manager selects you for high profile events where we represent Fujitsu as a whole and apprentices. We also have opportunities to work within the Apprentice Focus Group.
