  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I work between three sites: Cobalt Business Park - customer contact centre; where we receive calls and enquiries from residents of North Tyneside; Engies Shared Service Centre based at Quorum, where we deal with calls from customers and North Shields Customer First Centre- This is where residents of North Tyneside come into the centre with face-to-face enquiries. During my apprenticeship, I have been able to gain experience and take part in a wide range of tasks from creating a staff handbook to present and send to new starters and helping out with recruitment and assessment centres, to creating reports for the home energy staff, approving staff holidays, planning peoples shifts and helping with events such as customer service week.
