Over the next 3 years i will be visiting different placements around the company allowing me to learn and develop my skills whilst also giving me an insight into the line of work I may want to end up in.
I have developed skills such as my skills using computers mainly regarding the locating and the application of data. I have learnt how to use in house systems that will be useful for my future work placements.
I am currently enjoying my first placement, this is due to the team and the work environment that I am in. The scheme so far has far exceeded my expectations.
I feel as though myself and the other apprentices on the same scheme as myself are viewed as useful parts in the company due to our different ideas and thought processes.
The programme is well structured and but mainly leaves us to develop our on skills such as organisation.
My training provider allows for me to increase my knowledge at my own rate but also will provide aid if required. Other members of the team and workforce are just as helpful.
My employer supports myself and people alike in case we need it. this is essential to creating a good working attitude.
My salary package allows for me to live comfortably with accordance to my age, however if I were older this may be more difficult.
There are lots of school events available for the appprentices and this allows for me to develop skills such as presentational skills and also increase my confidence when doing it.
Yes
I personally feel that apprenticeships and under valued and do not get enough backing nd recognition. Teledyne E2V has offered me an amazing opportunity and I want more people to become aware of the scheme.
Take everything as a learning opportunity.
