  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my day job however the apprenticeship programme is separate and run differently. There are many roles available to move between so networking is important however the scheme make it difficult to move quickly between roles so this can take longer than expected. There are a few things that have been promised from the program and then taken away without communication which has been a frustration.

  • 9. Would you recommend IBM to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Its a good company if you are in the right area. If you are wiling to stick to the programme then its a good place but if you try and push boundaries it becomes difficult and there is little reward. The hiring process is lengthy and there can be a long wait so be patient. There is a two week induction that is useful and enjoyable.
