  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Currently i am thoroughly enjoying my apprenticeship programme with Bam Nuttall. I enjoy the work load that has been given to me and i also enjoy that i am treated as a member of the team even though i might be young and an apprentice. Before Joining BAM i did not think that i would be valued as much as i am, i all honesty i thought i be making everybody cups of tea, but this is not the case as i am looked upon as a Quantity Surveyor and given the correct work load which i am competent enough to deal with.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • In BAM Nuttall there is two delegated Apprentice Advisers, both of these are very helpful and trustworthy as you can go to them with any problem and you can trust that they will keep it confidential. One thing i do like from BAM Nuttall is that endorse an approach anyone method, this means that i can go to anyone, be it the managing director of my sector to a foreman on site, by doing this i find that all members of the company are there to support you and there to help out.

  • From my first day with BAM i felt that i receive a lot of support from them, the first day was in college and we had a meeting and we were introduce to the head of HR who gave us all her number and told us that if we had any problems we were able to call her and discuss anything with her. we were also given a helpline that the company uses if we wanted to discuss anything confidentially.
