  • i am an account handler who deals with the day to day running of an account. any queries a client may have will come into me which i will answer or revert to the Insurer.

  • i have developed my english skills i.e. emailing and also developed my communication and Insurance knowledge skills.

  • i have enjoyed every part of the apprenticeship

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Aon?
  • i feel very valued as from the start we were given our own accounts which gave us a massive amount of exposure and responsiblity.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • very well organised as we have always had a point of contact throughout the process and have been kept up to date through the Skills company and through our interan contacts.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • we recieved alot of support trough our training provider and the third party who would come in 5 times per course. (once a month).

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • my employers were especially helpful as they would give me time to revise when around the exam period and when working on accounts they biult a structure whereby it was easy to get support from either collegue when required

  • i was very happy with the salary.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • there are many oppurtunities outside of work such as gym memborship and many different discounts and events organised within aon.

  • Yes

  • i have really enjoyed the whole expereince and it has been a great learning curve.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aon?
  • Make sure you put us much effort in as possible as it is a very hard process but very worth it.
