  • I am a technical apprentice. I have started my final placement year in the Genset Manufacturing Engineering team where my day to day role involves: Supporting the line issues, defining processes, introducing new interlocked tooling, dealing with suppliers, operators and management. I also support the new Apollo project which involves process review using skills such as lean manufacturing.

  • Design work has been developed from CAD to manual layout drawings, communication skills improved and qualifications to degree level.

  • I love the fact that apprentices are treated as vital members of the team and can work on tasks that are business specific to ensure we can keep the rate of production high
