  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am currently a project manager on a large infrastructure project in the energy and utility sector. • The work is great, and the learning aspect has been amazing as the content has been extremely relevant to the work I have been completing, meaning I am able to soak up knowledge easier and achieve a higher percentage on my assignments. • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The structure of the programme includes all of the expected elements: induction, training, support network, mentor/coaching. It is organised in a way so it becomes part of your daily life at CGI and when you attend the University, meaning that you have the full support needed, but it doesn't have a negative impact on your time.

  • There are many events I have been a part of outside of my day job, whether it be with my work colleagues, but also my peers at University. • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CGI?
  • Make sure you meet the criteria, read all of the questions carefully in the application form. Attend open evenings for more information, and if successful use the assessment centre as a huge learning tool, even if you are unfortunately unsuccessful. It is a very competitive market for apprentices now, so make sure when you are in an assessment centre you are there because your optimal goal is to get a place.
