i work in payroll, my daily tasks include phone calls, email queries, checking reports and updating peoples work record.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to use the systems that Anchor use to pay and record shifts. I have also learnt how tax and NI work and other statutory payments, along with other valuable life skills from being around the people I work with

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy working for anchor and the job I do is very rewarding in the end. the qualification is a good way to update my own knowledge and I get a lot of helpful input if needed by the people around me.

I love working for anchor, I feel like I have some input to the company and that they value me being here

the program is fine

6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?

I have no input from the provider as they haven't been to see me

I have all the support that i could ask for. The Network of support in Anchor couldn't do any more.

7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

When i first started 4.33 was no where near affordable however the company realized this and when i had been employed for 12m they put me on the minimum wage for my age range and i couldn't be happier.

8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?

with Anchor being such a diverse company there are many training courses available as well as voluntary work in the care homes

Yes

I love working for Anchor and feel so happy with the company that i feel everyone should work for them

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Anchor Trust?

Research the company to see how good they are and how many people stay for their whole careers. Any training that you may need will be provided if you ask for it. Just apply because they are amazing
