  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • The first two years of my apprenticeship is based away from the plant. It’s on a naval base and is similar to a college. It involves lots of courses to allow me to get Btecs and nvqs. I work 7 hours paid a day. Within these ours we have 1 and a half hour lessons in which we learn how to become an engineer in either a mechanical, electrical or CNI disciplines.
