  • 9. Would you recommend Anchor Trust to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • As a not for profit/charity I feel a massive sense of worth working for anchor trust. Our aim and mission to give people happy living for the years ahead is a massively worthwhile cause. Despite being a charity development is absolutely taken seriously. IN the past 2 years working for anchor I have undertaken more formal development than the 10 years I held my previous post for in another company. If the development is worthwhile for the organisation and individual, it is accepted, even if this has a cost attached

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Anchor Trust?
  • Spend time in a local care home, regardless of the role you are going for – understanding our core customer base is vital. Become a Dementia Friend – if you know nothing about dementia, this is a great introduction to something so many of our customers are living with Show willing and an enthusiasm to engage with customers – they are our greatest concern and if you can’t talk to them then you’ll probably find most roles difficult
