  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My overall role within DLG is PMO analyst; training to become a project manager. The daily tasks i have within my role currently are; creating Agendas, capturing minutes, attending assurance reviews, attending and speaking is project status meeting. also, i am currently running my own project.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt many skills during my 4 months at DLG; not only am i more confident as a person, i know how to speak to a big group of people with confidence. I am currently working on my APM qualification and just about to take my PRINCE2 course. I am looking forward to learning more.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Work I love the work i am been given, although some of it can be quite challenging; i enjoy the challenge. Team The people i work with are friendly and helpful; helping me out if i get stuck with work. 100% exceeding my expectations.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Direct Line?
  • My manager appreciates me and has time set aside for me to have 1 to 1's with her. She gives me advice and some constructive criticism to help me develop my skills. The people i work with believe i work hard and get on with the job i am given.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • hmmmmm... The only disadvantage would be the course providers: babington are very slow on getting back to me. As we use their online portal and i am distant learner, it can be difficult. However my work mates help me out with struggles when they can.

  • I receive a varied amount of help and support on a daily basis depending on the task i have been set. However, i think babington could provide a better service.

  • A good amount of support is given to me on a daily basis by all relevant teams.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My train to work everyday is 15£, i feel like work could help me out with this. However my salary is good.

  • Many company events, charity events, APM events.
