I make a difference every day. It's really rewarding!
I've learnt a lot about Dementia awareness and person centred care.
I've got a great support network of people to help me.
I'm seen as a real part of the team and supported by my mentor.
I have regular reviews and away days where I can meet the other apprentices.
I seem my assessor regularly now.
My manager is really supportive and the apprenticeships support team are really helpful too.
I get support with travel costs and my pay has gone up after 6 months. I am now applying for permanent roles
I have supported a careers event and been to other locations to see other schemes/support events
Yes
It gives you chance to try the role out and get into a job with a chance to move up.
It's a better option to college/uni as you earn as you learn and get real work experience
