  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • The training I have had alongside the programme has been second to none. From learning the importance of body language and how I greet people to effective business writing and beyond. The working world requires many skills that we were never taught at school, especially in regards to working with people and managing expectations. I have the privilege of learning such skills on this course.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I have learnt skills that no degree will teach you. You will stand out from your peers with a years experience in one of the top firms in the city. The people are great and you will learn so much from them. I look forward to getting in to work (most days) and that's rare to come across.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Schroders?
  • Be open minded. I didn't get a place at first and I was presented with another opportunity that I was reluctant to accept but I'm so glad I did. I love the team that I am now in. The working world is a very competitive environment if you can get this on your CV at the age you are it will serve you very well, when the application feels long keep going!
