  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am currently working with the fee billing team in the Finance department. My day to day tasks include client billing, new set ups, reconciliations and I am working towards new and improved processes throughout the team. I am responsibly for a client base in Philadelphia and look after each of these accounts. This requires communications with overseas offices on a daily basis.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very well structured, the 20% is always given to the apprenticeships in order to complete either college work or other activities. There is great study space if some quiet revision is required and this is extremely helpful in exam periods. The HR department are also very helpful if we ever have any queries relating to the structure.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • My training provider gives great support and this is backed up with online communications. There is a live chat feature on the website which is extremely helpful especially in exam periods where we may be on study leave or not have the time to think about specific tasks. The live chat feature ensures we can ask the simplest of questions and get an instant response.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are opportunities to engage with other apprentices from other firms outside of the office. We have many events which are subsidised in order to network with people in our positions.
