  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • The insight week began with an induction day and finished with a day where we wrapped up the whole week and we did some presentations. The middle three days were spent shadowing a PwC employee, which I found insightful. My 'buddy' that I shadowed was incredibly helpful when answering my questions.

  • Yes. Learned how to use excel more proficiently in particular.

  • I enjoyed the experience very much, particularly because I found it rewarding.

  • The paid us, loaned us a laptop and bag, and gave us a lovely red t-shirt. So yes, I think PwC did value us.

  • 9b. Why?
  • This was a great experience and it provided an insight into the working of large auditing companies and their large clients, which was very interesting. Plus you get paid.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Don't be afraid to fail.
