  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I was an advisory at GMP and was involved in the business engagement side of the team. and one thing I did day to day is create a storyboard which is to display a simple and clear way of how the iOPS system will be applied into everyday policing situations and demonstrates step by step how and when it is used. It also ensures it is fit for the audience so everybody using the system will be able to understand it My daily interactions was my partner This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions. And my daily external interactions was GMP chief constable This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • yes for example the chartered management institution (CMI). My internal training courses was from Promilla on how to do feedback and external training course was at GMP, the consultants on how to do my activities. At the start of the course, I wanted to establish a sense of professionalism and manage my time better and I am so happy to say now I have mastered both skills Ive also learnt how it feels in the business world

  • 4. How valued do you feel by EY?
  • I feel valued as at GMP, my work has been accredited and has been submitted to an illustrator to review it. The line manager was incredibly busy but still constantly checked up one me to see how I was doing. I got many thank you and complimented for my work and could tell they were both very impressed with the work I produced. They even highly suggested I come back to EY!

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It was well organised as everyday we would be briefed on what's going on and had several time intervals for when one activity would end and the other would start. Training wise, we were given a detailed and lengthy IT induction to iron out any problems when computing. We got many support as some grads came and helped us out. We were all allocated mentors to assist and guide us through the programme. Tasks delegation , we always separated the task between all of us so we can get the job done quicker. Overall, the progamme was excellently organised
