I was more there to assist in holding items for reporters. I was also able to learn more about certain areas in the media industry including knowing more about the dubbing suite, gallery, reporters, media, web-design and more
I learnt more about how things work. For example how/what they have to do when the news show goes on air, and/or about how to read the programme schedule properly.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It's definitely different to what I'm used to, but I loved every minute of the work experience with ITV Wales.
I felt very valued. I helped members of the ITV Wales team a lot, and they were grateful for my assistance.
As it was the Royal Welsh Show week, some of the time on one of the 3 days experience I had was mostly spent sitting around. Other than that, the operation manager often went around to see what I could do next.
It was amazing! Very good, although I was more informed about things than anything else.
It was very good. The team were all very friendly and understanding. We could have a laugh, which is always a useful thing.
I didn't get paid. I walked to the building for the 3 days and only bought a couple of snacks from my own money.
The opportunity is surrounding media. I'm also a Mind Cymru media volunteer, and so I now have stronger link to getting opportunities outside of the work experience.
Yes
Because they are very good and information. I wouldn't have learnt what I had done if it weren't for attending the 3 days work experience.
Definitely go for it. The opportunity doesn't always go around. I was lucky to be involved with this because I originally did an interview for ITV Wales News. Doing the experience can also gain you good contacts.
