Day to day. Graffiti removal and. Clean up working with the council of Stockton on tees. Did garden clear outs, litter picking removed of all goods from homes such as paid for service. Also dealt with bin collection and fines.
I learnt how to clean up using a variety of skills. Engaged with team workers as well as members of the public. Increased my physical stamina. Learnt to work with a variety of people.
The program was okay in some parts but it was advertised as graffiti removal. Environmental cleaner it felt like a cheap way for the council to get workers. However I still made the best from the expierence and gained from it.
Not a lot you were getting just over £3.00 an hour at the time it was hard work and you little time to learn.
Not very it could be anything you found out on the day it was with any council department that needed support.
Not a lot, short training programs. Supervisors stood and gave orders. Spoke to in a poor manner. No gratitude. No progression as only 1-2 would be took on basically saying no one had a chance for a full trine job.
Same as above as employer was the training provider. Not a lot, short training programs. Supervisors stood and gave orders. Spoke to in a poor manner. No gratitude. No progression as only 1-2 would be took on basically saying no one had a chance for a full trine job.
It was just over 3 pound. An hour it was out of town came away with 90 a week not manageable. Travel and food costs took a big junk out of this.
Not a lot as it was poorly handled job title was a cover up.
No
Due to all the reasons above.
