The apprenticeship provide details me with a lot of insight into the real world and application of my previous knowledge and experience of the council Into action. I was supported from start to finish in my role with people there to guide me throughout my stay and help me better my career and my experiences by letting me branch out into different roles within the council. This benefited my choice to go into further study whilst also carrying out part time work with the council to better my knowledge about the way the system works.
I gained many skills for instance having time pressure when carrying out tasks, and being held accountable for my work as part of a team.
It was great to learn new things and have something to put on my cv, but I wish I'd have gained more experience in other work sectors before getting a job where I was unhappy.
Quite valued, I'm just not happy with the job I'm in
It was well balanced in the sense that it was quite structured yet the programme tutor allowed for changes in working in various departments to broaden our experiences.
Quite a lot of support but the support doesn't matter if you are doing a job or receiving training that your not happy with, your just good at it.
Enough support in regards to staying with the company but not enough if you want to go into another area of work
Not well
Sometimes, but this mostly includes opportunities that clash with work times Andy I always help with over time
Yes
It has a great training programme, I just made the wrong decision about where to go but I don't regret it as everything happens for a reason
Be yourself, be honest and be the best person you can be.
