  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I was a cashier, meaning I would scan the public's items, check prices, and sometimes even find out stocks. It was a great learning experience and I am so thankful and grateful that i was given the opportunity. I learnt how to interact with members of the public and how to overcome certain situations.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • How to help customers and overcome certain situations. If they wanted to do a price check or something, I would assist, and I scanned foods. I learnt how to speak to them and maintain an even level of assertiveness and informality.
