I enjoyed my work as being part of the Apple Retail Team. My daily tasks included helping customers out and working behind the scenes to provide a smooth experience. I interacted with customers daily and overall it really helped build my confidence, and im now qualified in the role of sales and marketing! I had a good group of colleagues and we worked well together and it was a fun enjoyable working environment

Yes I have definitely learnt skills, and have found that on the whole I have definitely built upon my confidence to approach people and find out their needs. The internal training had a good effect as I got to know my colleagues better, and the information was completely relevant to our products. I definitely feel like its a good programme to undertake due to the sheer variety of options.

I loved both working at Apple and working with the colleagues. The company as a whole has a good work ethic and I wouldn't have wanted it any differently. It exceeded my expectations as a whole because I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought prior to my position.

Apple does well to make its staff feel valued. The management takes specific care to cater to your needs, and on the whole are very understanding for any need to take time off, and are also very good at giving praise where it is due. You also get recognition for your efforts with specific company rewards, which definitely is a bonus to an already amazing job.

I think the programme is very well structured, with a clear induction on what to do and which jobs are allocated to who. There wasn't that much studying as it was a very hands on role, which I think is personally the best way to learn. I also think that support meetings are good in finding your weaknesses and bettering yourself as a person.

I really enjoy doing what I do, and there is generally an amazing attitude from the company. Any problems that I faced was immediately rectified by those higher up and there is definitely a good support mechanism for any challenging tasks. Managerials are always there to help if needed, which is definitely good.

I receive lots of support as previously stated, and there is always someone to help with any problems faced.

The salary is very decent for someone of school leaving age. It covers all of my living/daily costs, and overall I think its very generous - however if you are considering going into it for the money I suggest going into another career option as apprenticeships aren't designed to instantly make you rich!

Yes, there are many company events and there are always opportunities to work extra shifts and get involved with extra activities.

Because on the whole its a good company to work for, they treat you well and you learn lots about the retail world which is a very good life skill to obtain.

Be yourself, be genuine and you will fly through the interview process. They look for a good set of grades in terms of basic subjects such as Maths and English, but its based more on your people skills. I wish I had been told about the role earlier, as you can get in from a GCSE age rather than after A-levels which I wish I had done!
