  • The role is a Consulting Higher Apprentice and day to day you are working on client or internal projects, developing great organisation, project management and technical skills.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, I have developed good organisational skills, project management skills and organised several big events. I've also developed academically through the certificate and diploma.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It's great! The people you work with are fantastic, each project is different and there are so many opportunities for a great career.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by PwC?
  • It varies from project teams but I've always felt valued and most teams have made me a core part of the day to day workings, challenged me and helped me to develop my skills.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very. It's clear from the start what you'll be doing. The projects are set out for you and the diploma and certificate is well organised and supported.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • A lot. You have an assessor and you speak to them once a month usually and they'll talk to you about the work side of it as well as the qualification.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Quite a lot. There's a clear team to go to for advice and managers tend to want to develop you and help you learn so on the whole are very supportive.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Well. I've managed to move out on my salary, buy a new car and am now saving for travelling.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Plenty. There's a great volunteering circuit and you're encouraged to participate. There are also plenty of other networks and events to get involved in.

  • 9. Would you recommend PwC to a friend?
  • Yes

  • They're a great employer. You get a lot of different opportunities and the experience is what you make it to be.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Be yourself. PwC is not looking for a 'type' of person they are looking for individuals that bring something fresh to the organisation.
