I'm a production coordinator apprentice, which involves booking talent and raising their contracts, helping to organise with shoots whether they are national or international and generally helping the production coordinator with anything they need.
I've developed my communication skills, and learnt about purchase orders as well as copyright clearances etc.
To the fullest. Occasionally it can be rather quiet which I don't like, however when it's busy I love it and I get stuck in to all my work.
Average
very well organised/structured considering my cohort is the first cohort of this scheme
A lot. They are very helpful and always there for you whether its work related or personal.
Quite a bit, they are interested in what it is I'm studying so I often find myself having a meeting with my placement managers and going through my units with them to determine the sort of work they should be giving me.
Because I live by myself with my two children it can be a stretch at times.
Not that I have seen yet.
Yes
Because it's a great experience and the environment is more laid back than everyone thinks.
Just be yourself, be honest and above all, know what you're applying for.
