  • cer/cashier. My daily role is to manage the walk in customers with thier queries regarding payments, bearvement, fraud and any other inquery which can not be helped on the main floor. i am also a authorised cashier so cover the counter when staff are ill or holidays.

  • I have fine tuned my customer service and knowledge of the banking standards

  • although i had issues with time given to complete the programme and meeting my asseror i did enjoy the course

  • there is no recongistion from the branch for passing my exams or apprentership

  • the programme is well organised but i feel the branch are not equipped to give time off and support that is needed

  • the salary is a low salary compared the others in the same industry

  • yes my new qualifications means i can move to other employer with ease

  • because i feel that the structure is changing and is not for the better


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to HSBC?
  • the application and interview are both comfortable and just feel confident. the onboarding programme is excellent and support from all the training staff is above and beyond. however i do feel that depending what branch you end up will depend on your overall experince of HSBC and not all is postive
