  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • - Global customer support - Assisting user to assure that their issues are all resolved as quick as possible and efficiently. Our goal is to be as quick as possible to allocate our client to correct department and problem being resolved. Requires to be fast working and great communication skills to be efficient. - We have various project which all fit in to provide support other for example there is the task force which are a team of specialists in our ticketing system which answer any inquiries we may have.

  • I have enhanced my communication skill having to speak with thousands of client on a monthly basis. Has helped in my attention skills to key words

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy all aspects of the program from the company from my training I have once a week to the company I work with. The support which is provided is more than I can ask for which is great.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Bloomberg?
  • Not just my self but all other are very valued by the company as its a very diverse company so we all have very friendly piers and managers which make you feel welcoming to such a big company. Our Great work is recognised but sharing the good things being done and shared to the whole department.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • - it is well organised in terms of changes which are being made are well communicated to all apprentices - The support for our studies is great with our trainer providing all the support required - Mentors keeping our progress on track and directing us to the right direction to get the course completed

  • - We get given good support which help us get our coursework work done with relevant information to pass the course. - Good support to decide about our future after the program

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Our employer provide so much support for all employees and myself which I am an apprentice in the company, they had supported me on the rough bumpy journey to get to a stable position in my role. I had been finding the role difficult due to my lack of skills which were fundamental however they had put effort to work on these weak areas of mine to improve radically.

  • The Salary Covers our costs almost to the exact of all our costs we have

  • - There are plenty of opportunities from charity events we can attend to sports we can participate

  • Yes

  • Because great company to work for with all the support which is provided to all employees. Its a great work environment to be in.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bloomberg?
  • - I would Advice for interview for Bloomberg to be proactive in researching the position and skills required and back ground of the company as it helps with you applications. - Once within the company take advantage of all the opportunities you have available
