  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have moved around the deparment, here at EON IT UK (Support) and have really enjoyed each time in which I have been apart of. I was one of the first every set (1 of 10) of IT apprentices that EON have taken, and dispite not running the program before, my exeprice has been well structured and has exposed me to many areas of both IT and the business. As a result, I cannot but enjoy my experience as an Eon apprentice.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by E.ON?
  • Despite being at the lowest level within the department, I have been allocated real work that is of benefit to the team and the business. As a result, I have benn aproached by other, higher level colleagues on several occcasions around the work ive carried out, to provide them with information they require. In turn, this especially has made me feel valed within the company and I look forward to deevloping my skills and experiences within the program.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The apprentice managers, repsonsible for starting the Eon IT apprenticeship [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] have been excellent in ensuring that all 10 apprentices are exposed to as much of the business and the different teams within 'Support' as possible. Team leaders have also played a great part to structing our calendars to esnure that we have the perfect balance of real business work, with still the time to carry out our studies towards the qualification within the working day.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • Traing providers (QA) provide the required training courses and materials, generic to the course and are willing to put in the extra hours out of training periods to provide further guidence. However the communication that I have recieved from QA has sometimes lacked responsiveness and clarity when away from the training facility and back in the Eon Office at Newstead.
